Today I will show you, How will you recover your deleted whatsapp messages, videos and images in your Android and Iphone.

You should know that  whatsapp automatically keeps backups of text messages, images and videos at every 4 am and stores them on your microSD memory card.

 It's very easy to recover your whatsapp messages, videos and images. This method is the most basic and shall recover the most recent back up of same day (4am-4am cycle). You should remember it will recover your last 7 days files.

Take a manual Backup conversation of your whatsapp chat setting. Like it , "WhatsApp > [Menu Button] > Settings > Chat Settings > [Backup conversations]"

Your manual backup files are saved as, “msgstore.db.crypt” in the local folder of WhatsApp database (/sdcard/WhatsApp/Databases folder) and can be found under the following locations:
Android WhatsApp Database Path:/sdcard/WhatsApp/Databases/msgstore.db.crypt
iPhone WhatsApp Database Path:/net.whatsapp.WhatsApp/Documents/ChatStorage.sqlite

Now rename your backup file so that you can easily find out it among local Whatsapp database folder. Remember the backup files are always saved in the/sdcard/WhatsApp/Databases/ folder.

2. Uninstall WhatsApp
3. Select backup file you want to restore
4. Rename that backup file from “msgstore-YYYY-MM-DD.1.db.crypt” to “msgstore.db.crypt”
Install WhatsApp
5. Click [Restore] when prompted to restore your message history
